Well Friends I am happy to report I am STAPLE FREE!!
Saw my Surgeon today. He said things look great..
He said my leg is healing and I seem to be walking on it good. He said Mom could take me for little bit longer walks. (altho with the mosquitos I highly doubt it right now) AND he said I could go wading with a leash on.. (So I don't jump or run too much)
Plus, he said if Mom & Dad help me I can go up the stairs to sleep at night... So Mom & Dad won't have to sleep on the floor any more.
I am sure that makes them SOOO sad... BOL NOT!!! Mom said now she can make her living room look like a Living room again... Instead of a hospital room.. ;)
Here I am waiting to see the vet.. I was so excited as usual.
It was super easy when they took my staples out. Mom said SHE could of done it at home. .but she wanted the vet to see me
On the way home I was So happy.
Mom sat in back with me SO I would jump around like I normally do.. BOL...
Oh.. more good news. NO cone of Shame.. and NO more 24/7 Guarding.. I can lick my incision area now!! (with in reason Mom says)
The vet wants to see me in 4 weeks. I still have to stay off the furniture, limit my walking and jumping. .But he said in a month he will take xrays and if all is like he THINKS it will be. . I will be FREE!! I am planning a GREAT "Gotcha Day" on August 30th!!
For now I will rest a bit and think about my boy friend Coach!
