Me and Mom have met SO  Many Amazing special people through the magic of The Internet
You have No idea how much Happiness and Joy you bring to Mom's  life   (and MINE TOO)
We  LOVE seeing all your pictures and hearing about all your crazy adventures.. and we hope you enjoy our daily posts and pictures as well.

No matter if your Celebrate Thanksgiving or not in the area you live... This is a GREAT time
to let the ones you care about and love know just what they mean to you. 

Enjoy the LONG weekend Gang.. and think about ME when your nibbling on that Juicey Turkey or  having that extra scoop of Mashed Potatos..

A RARE Occassion

Hello Everyone.   Hope your Fall is going well and your happy and content.   :)
    Because I am such a  Wonderful Big Sister... I am gonna let my baby sister Crystal
"take over" my  Blog for today and  tell you about her "big adventure" on Saturday..
    First let me say that every now and then Mom & Dad like to take one of us alone some place fun..  A Dog park.. A park.. the Store.. something so we get some One on One time with them.. I am ALL for that.. when its MY Turn.. NOT so crazy about it when its some one else's turn.. (sigh)    but any way.. Saturday was Crystals day...  Me and Delores stayed at home...( I spent the day sticking pins into my little Crystal VooDoo Doll.. ) ROTFBOL.............
 So... I turn the Blog over to her...


Hi Everyone ~~  I am Lolita's youngest sister Crystal.. some of you know me better as CJ.  I have a twitter that I share with my other sister Delores

Saturday (10/17) Mama & Daddy took  me to a couple of lovely big State Parks.
The day started off chilly so I had to wear my hoodie.. it use to be Lolita's.. but she out grew it.. 
I was very excited to go.. when Daddy stopped to get some drinks for them I was up and ready to drive off with out him.. ( giggles in paw)

It was a long ride but they played Music  and sang. Well Dad Sang alittle.. Mom ALWAYS sings.. 

We saw alot of pretty tree's..  We stopped at a place called "Long John Silvers"... and got lunch. I got a couple fries.. a bit of chicken a taste of Coleslaw  (which I spilled all over the van) and a couple bites of hush puppies.  It was very tasty.... 

I tried to be a good girl at the park.. .but I was very excited and I kept trying to bite my leash..  but Mom & Dad got some nice pictures with me..

We did alot of walking and Mommy and Daddy kissed alittle  (blushes)  we saw a few dogs and a few people... I didn't bark too much...... 

 

As the day went on it got alot warmer so I got to take off my SweatShirt..

I even got to splash a bit in the water.  :)  It was SO blue..

  I love my Mom & Dad ALOT...

  I gave Daddy a big Kiss cause he is a good Daddy..   :)

Mom  LOVES to take pictures...  She took them of Me.. Her & Dad.. the sceney.. all sorts of things..     Look... 

 

 

It was such a good day I didn't want it to end.. altho I DID miss my 2 Big Sisters...  I love THEM alot too...  (even tho- Lolita makes fun of me alot)
  I am very glad I had a nice Fall day to spend with my folks.. here are a few more pictures...    Hope eveyone enjoys... xxx

Greetings and Salutations!!

Hey Everyone.   :)  Hope your all having a great week so far.  Things are good around here over all.
Its been nearly 3 months since I had my Knee surgery....  I seem to be doing pretty good.
I get a tad stiff after a LONG day at the park.. but at over  9 the Vet said that is not uncommon for even Labs who have NOT had surgery.. 
All I know is it feels SOOO good to run and play and chase my ball again...  (and swim.. CAN'T forget swimming!!!)
      I am trying to drop a couple pounds..  (per Mom)  I think I look perfect..  #Diva...
but she said she wants me down to my Pre Surgery weight of about 62..  sigh..
Whatever......   Along with feeding me low calorie dog food, she is also giving me more carrots and apples  (which is FINE by me)  AND playing more ball and stuff.. (which is TOTALLY ok by me!) 

Not too bad for  9 huh??    I love to run... 

The weather has been very nice.. Near perfect Mom says.. not too hot.. not too cold..

Good thing too... I get tired of Mom moaning about sweating.... Or freezing.. Depending on which side of 70' the thermostat is.   BOL.....

Me & My sisters have been enjoying work outs with out having to worry about over heating.

Fall around here also brings Footbal... which basically means that once or twice a week Mom sits and yells , cheers or cusses at the TV .. all depending on what "HER" Team is doing...    I could care less.. Me and Delores Sleep.. but my baby sister Crystal hides.. She doesn't like when Mom raises her voice...  BOL..

 I am such a good  big sister....  Look at me allowing my goof ball Crystal to SIT on me in the Van.. .  Boy O Boy. the things I do...

 

Speaking of Crystal..... She has been doing well on her Medication...  So far No Seizures since August 13th..

  So thats good..  The less hassle and time spent on her.. is more time Mom has for ME..  ;)

And being the Princess that I am...  thats all that really counts...

So.. here's hoping your all doing well and your family is all happy and healthy.

My Gotcha Day (1 day late)

August  30th  2015

Hey Everyone. Well due to the lousy weather on my Actual Gotcha Day 8/29.. we had to post pone my Day until today  8/30  (Sunday)
Had a blast.  Mom actually got up  before 11 a.m (on a weekend) which is surprise enough.... (snickers in paw) 
We were out of the house before  10:30.. NEVER happens..... (wink)
   Much to my surprise we stopped at  my REAL sister Ellys house..  No one told me we were gonna do that..  My REAL sister Molly came over and we had a little reunion..

Auntie Laureen gave me some water and some little treats.. :) 
   After we left there house we headed off to a HUGE dog Park in Wauconda IL
Its like  60 acre's big..  It was very over cast.. and kinda humid.. but not bad..

We did some walking and ball playing....     Good times...

Mom kept making me rest   .. she's a worry wart.....

We even met a couple of other dogs...

Mom and Dad played a game...  They were trying to get me to relax and ignoring me...   I kept dropping the ball on the table..

Finally I had to take Matters in to my own Paws and let them know in NO terms were we there to play word games... this was a DOG Park

 

After a while we left that dog park and headed for some lunch at White Castle...

 

 The Burgers smelled SOOOOOO good....  

 Tasted good too!!!!!!!

Then it was off to another Park in that area where we could SWIM!!!!
That was what I was waiting for.. I love Love LOVE to swim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even  CJ and DJ had fun... :)

Crystal got alittle dirty.......

It was a great day..

Thank you So much to My Mom & Dad for taking  us there...
Its about a  130 miles (or around  3 hours round trip..)  
For about  3 hours of actually dog park  playing time... so its no easy task to take us... but that just shows how much Mom & Dad love me.......  Errrr Ummm I mean " US" 
   Hope your all doing great and I will catch ya next time
