Another very nice fall day.  :)  I love playing out side in the fresh air and wind..  If Mom would let me I'd stay out all day playing ball. 
My little sister has a bit of a sore leg, so we have not been to the dog park in a few days.. but hopefully very soon. 
     Only about 3 more weeks until the Election.. I say if Labs were in charge all the world would be at peace and everyone would be happy and content..

The weather is changing gang...  The nigths are cold and the days are cold.
The leaves are changing quickly.. When I play at the dog parks I can smell a
certain scent in the air...  telling me winter is on its way..
I DO love Fall tho- even tho I can't swim  (mom won't let me swim under 75") but I love
running through the leaves and feeling the cool air blow through my ears.   :)
   LIfe is pretty quiet right now. Last week I had to baby sit my Kid sister Delores 3  nights in a row  while Mom and Dad went to THREE Prince concerts..
Mom is such a big fan...  Dad will do anything he can to get her to see him...  I guess that is what humans do to show their love..  ;o)
    Its Friday so I am hoping for some dog park time the next 2 days.. (if mom can handle the cold)

Happy Thursday gang..   Hope the week has been good for everyone.  Our days are getting cooler here in Illinois.. Fall is on its way..
Football season has begun and the days are shorter..
 My dad had to have a growth removed from his Finger.. Thank Goodness it was nothing serious.   Mom & Dad have enough to worry about..
  Altho I love Fall I hate to see the warm swimming days of summer go away... 
Mom is very picky about letting me swim.. and basically it has to be over 75' before she will let me. 
   They say there might be a Hockey Strike..  Now that doesn't sound like a good thing.. Mom and Dad like to watch Hockey.. and when they watch TV they have snacks.. and when they have snacks I beg for snacks....  Lets get this settled boys!!!

Fun day today.  Dog park and lots of rides.  I love being  a Lab.  I am so lucky that my Mom and Dad spoil me soo much.  :)

Happy Friday gang!  Its a lovely fall like day here in Illinois.. Perfect weather for ball chasing...  but I am stuck inside while mom feeds her dumb birds.
WHY would any one want birds for a pet?  You can't walk them? Can't throw a ball for them?  They are not cuddly.. yet she has 6 of them.. sigh
I am hoping I get a dog park or at the very least a few tosses out in my back yard tonight.. 
This Lab lives for chasing her tennis ball...
   Dad has alot of hassles and stress at work right now..  Poor guy...  I give him as many kisses as I can to help ease the pain..   He is lucky to have me.   :)

Good afternoon everyone.  Lovely fall like day here. I spent my Morning Helping Mom work in her flower beds..
and my "helping" I mean I bring my tennis ball to her, drop in down in front of her (sometimes smashing weeds or flowers) and will do this over and over until she picks it up and throws it for me...
Then we begin all over again.   :)
Hoping for a Dog park trip later today...
  I was not around when the big 9/11 happened.. but I understand it to of been a horrible thing and many people lost their lives...
Heart felt Labbie love too all the ones who lost family or friends on that sad day.

ME AND COACH ~ A LOVE STORY
I met my sweet Love Coach on Twitter. He is a yellow lab who lives in Ohio.   He is the smartest Cutest guy in the world.  He sends me lovely presents and writes me sweet romantic tweets.
I am so lucky to have him in my life.
 I hope Some day we can meet so I can see his handsome eyes in person..   :)

IN THE BEGINNING
I came to live with Mom and Dad on August 29 2006.  Earlier in the year Mom had lost her Chocolate lab of almost 14 years Trixie.. 
   When they brought me home I was 6 weeks old and around 8 pounds.  Mom had 3 little girl pups to choose from.. but she picked ME!   :) 
My Sisters Molly & Elly both went to good homes too and Mom keeps in touch with their famlies as well.. 
   When I first came to live with my folks I had an older Black  Lab sister. Her name was Orion.  She was about 9.  She didn't like me too much at first.. but after a  couple of weeks we became fast friends..  (of course I was SO adorable, who could NOT love me) BOL!!
I was a good puppy.  Slept great and learned quickly.  Before the age of 4 months I was already fetching and bring back toys with great skill.  :o)    I was a great swimmer too!!
   In Feb of 2007 sadness fell over our family.. My Grandma  (Moms' Mom) died unexpectedly . Mom was SO sad and so depressed..  I was always there to give her comfort.
Me & Dad and Orion did all we could to make Mom smile.  Me and Mom passed away many hours at the Dog parks.
     Life was pretty care free and easy those first couple of years.  I went to a White Sox Baseball Dog  Game,  went and stayed over night in Hotels with Mom & Dad.  Loads of Car rides and dog parks..  Good times..
Orion was now over 10 and she liked to stay home with all the comforts and quiet.. so it was just Me Mom & Dad .. 
  Sadly in June of  2009 My big sister Orion went to the Rainbow Bridge.. She was a great Sister and I missed her alot..

That is Orion shortly before she died. 
   I figured "ok, its just me and the folks now"  but I was wrong... Oh so wrong...
In  late June of 2009 My life was to change forever.............
That is when my  Parents brought home a 12 pound 8 week old bundle of Spazzing...
My Sister Delores...   Ok, she WAS cute.. at first.. but as she got older she began to lose her appeal.. She climbed all over me, chased me..  chewed up all my toys and worst of all .. took away some of MY time with Mom & Dad..  
Suddenly instead of the 3 of us.. there was this tag along KID in the car, and at the dog parks..   
But as time went on, we kinda worked it all out.. Now she knows that I AM the  #1 dog around here and she is my under study...
Below is a picture of here right now.   3 years old..

In May 2o12 My Granpa John died.  (mom's dad)  Delores never got to meet our Grandma..

It was another sad time around here, ( he had a terrible thing called Cancer.. I don't know much about it.. but I know its BAD!!)

  Mom & Dad were very sad.. but again I was there to help pull them through.. (Ok Delores DID help some) 

So that is my start in a nut shell.. all the way up to September of 2012...
