Hello Dear Friends... This is gonna be a bit long.. but I hope you will take the time to read it and I hope you will understand........
As most of you know we have been working hard to get a Fence put up on the Property here were we live. Our Girls are use to living in a place with a big fenced in yard. We like to take them outside and let them splash around in the kiddie pool and play ball with them. We love just letting them outside and allowing them to roam free or lay in the sun shine with out leashes.
You also have probably heard that we live on a VERY busy road.. its a Main Strip through town. Cars zoom up and down at 45-55 mph and some times faster. Our house sits close to the road!!!
It is NOT safe to let the dogs off leash in a unfenced yard.
We take the girls to the park nearly every single day so they can have some off leash fun.. but at times its very hard to be able to go due to weather or sickness or being low on gas... but we do our best...
We've had a bunch of hoops to jump through... City Permits, we've had to have them come out and mark our yard for under ground pipes/cables/wires
We've had to coordinate things with not only the owner of the property.. but the Landlord (Property manger) get them both on the same page....
We've had several Fence people come out to give us estimates so we could find the best price...
We finally had everything in order..... Only thing missing was the money...
Now... as ALOT of you also know I am a HUGE HUGE Prince Fan! I've been one since 1980.
With out going into a LONG LONG story (but of course if you wanna hear the entire story please DM me and I will gladly tell you)
Back in 1988 a good friend and Co worker of my brothers and a friend of mine Won tickets to go see Prince (from a radio station) in Minnesota and then to a party at his Studio Paisley Park...
When he got back he had an autograph.... He said that he had got it from Prince for me....
This has always been something I have Cherished with my Whole heart.. Its one of those things that we always said if the house caught on fire and you could only save 3 things. .it would for sure be ONE of them!!!!!
My plan was when I was gonna turn 70 we'd sell it and use the money towards a nice little couple day get away....
Over the years we've had to sell SO many things.. We sold our wedding rings, we had to sell all the Jewelry My Mom left me (even her original wedding ring )
We sold CD's , DVDS, My husband sold his baseball card collection, we sold our beanie babies.. everything we could to keep going.. but that Autograph was SO special!!! A couple times over the years I thought about selling it, but Paul said NO WAY!!
Well after we were settled in here and knew we loved it and were planning on staying for 3 or more years we knew it was time for that fence, and I knew it was what the Autograph was meant to be sold for...
We contacted a Dealer (a professional in autographs) We sent him a picture. He was thrilled and said he'd buy it.. $1,700!!!
That was our FENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is why we haven't said anything about needing money for the fence the last 8 months or so..... We had it.
Yesterday he got it.. He checked it out and while he 100% agrees its Princes actual Signature.... he said it appears to be a Photo copy of it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worthless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is sending it back to us.......
To say we are Devastated is an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!
The Fence was suppose to be started next week!!!!!!! (( it was finally happening!!! ))
So now we have no clue how we can pay for this fence.. I have been Crying all day. I feel terrible.. not only because its something WE want. ... but it will be SO nice for the Girls too!!!!!!!!!!!
We have lost so much over the past 17 Months and we have had so many disappointments.. This just cuts my heart out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Paul has been working Full time for 7 months.. but his job just barely pays all the bills and rent...
It would take us years to save up the money for this fence............
I don't know what else to do............... I know SO many of you have done SO much for us and I really have NO right to ask for more...
but we want/need this fence!
I know the Trolls will probably start having a field day but frankly I don't care..
I know we are being 100% honest with you and if any of you would like more details I will gladly give them to you..
But Friends we need help............
If any of you can pitch in anything.......... NOTHING is too small..
Hopefully together all my wonderful friends can make this Fence happen for our Labbies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because I have NO idea how we can do it alone...

I know there are alot of people on here that ask for money every single month and we've tried REALLY hard to not bother you guys alot this year with our issue's... But Lord.. we really had our heart set on this Fence...
