Happy Gotcha Day to Me!!!

 

On August 29, 2006 My life changed forever....    That was the day Mom came and got me and took me to my New life.. :)

  I still remember it perfectly.. I was in the Puppy Play Pen with my 2 sisters and 2 brothers when we heard an unfamilair voice.....

Who could it be?????

Our Foster Mom walked in and then my soon to be Mama.. 

The first thing I thought was "OH.. a Chubby one!!  thats GOOD.. means she likes the snacks and possible hand outs.. " 

But the 2nd thing I could tell as she walked up to our pen is that her heart was over flowing with love for animals and she would be the BEST MOM in the whole world...

    I quickly pushed the others aside and jumped up so Mom would touch ME first..

I felt her hand on me... I felt myself being picked up.. My tail wagged and my tongue licked...  I was face to face with this person who would become My Mom..  Ours met.. . she smelled  my puppy breath..  saw my adorable eyes and I looked in to her eyes and it was OVER... I was HERS!!!

She never held another puppy,  never set me down... 

   It was fate...........  

    After all the paper work was filled out I rode home on Mom's lap sleeping ~ dreaming of what would be my new home.. 

When I got there I was greated by a huge black lab.. My new big sister.. Her name was Orion.. (Pronounced O'Ryan)  She was a bit tough on me at first.. but after a week or so we were fast pals!

 

 





 



 

After awhile my Daddy came home.....

He loved me like crazy too..   :)      I was in...... There was NO going back!!!   :) 

Nothing made me happier when I was a kid then laying in Mom's lap and sleeping.. or having Mom hold me in her arms and give me tons of kisses.. 

 

Things have NOT always been easy for My Mom & Dad..

I have seen them go through alot of VERY VERY sad times... and some VERY VERY horrible rough times...

but they always do EVERYTHING they can to be SURE I am happy and have what I need.. and USUALLY what  I want.

 I  am SOOO very glad that Mom picked ME out of that litter so long again.............

I like to think BOTH  our lives changed for the better that day..   :)

Hi Everyone!!   Well  today I went to an Awesome Basball game at the Minor League Park.  Kane County Cougars.. home of the Cubs Minor League team..    :)
The night started out pretty nice..  mostly sunny and pleasant.. but by evening Mom had to put a sweat shirt on.. Me and Dad tuffed it out..

At 4 p.m I was ready to roll..  A night out WITHOUT my sisters!!!   Sweet!!!

 

We didn't need a ticket for me.. and Mom & Dad only had to pay for ONE thanks to their special ticket..  :)

They have these special days when Dogs can go to the park 3x  a year..  This one fell right by my Bday  (7/17) So I THINK it was made just for me..  :) 

We started out the fun by getting to walk all the way around on the field..  Dad walked me while Mom snapped pictures!!  :)   Some people pet me and even a couple ball players..  

 Dad and I got our picture taken With Ozzie the Mascot..    :)  

 



Then I got some doggie ice  cream.  It was SOO good.   :)

 



Then the ball game started.. I MAY of gotten ALITTLE bit  hyper at times...  MAYBE.. but I was SOOO excited.. 

Got lots of good pictures with Mom & Dad...    :)

I liked all the little kids fussing over me..  :)

Watching the game and stuff...

I would rather have Mountain Dew.. but I guess Pepsi is ok...

 



Here I am thanking my Daddy for  a great night..  :)

 So Much FUN.. I am such a lucky girl to have a Mom & Dad who love me sooooo much and take me to such fun things..   :)  

 

I was SOO sleepy on the way home..   But I had a blast..
