SWIMMIN' IN OCTOBER

October 11th   2016

As Most of you know there is NOTHING I like better than Swimming.  The feeling of jumping in that Cool, glorious water is like nothing else in this   world...  Here in the Midwest it gets pretty cold for about  5 months out of the  year... not really "swimming weather" so every day AFTER October 1st that we get to Swim is a GIFT!
   Wednesday October  5th Mom took JUST ME Swimming.    Such great fun.
Here is our day........

We left the house and I was more than a bit excited.. Mom asked me if I didn't feel "alittle" sorry that my Sisters were not coming along.. (( I Laughed ))

 Mom & I are a great team...

Our First stop was The Mobil Gas Station.. I got some Treats and one of the clerks came out and pet me AND a man delievering pop pet me too.  They could NOT believe I am 10 
     From there it was lunch time..  I personally could of went STRAIGHT to the Park.. but you know Moms... they gotta have their lunch..
We went to Panda Express & shared a "Panda Bowl"    YUM!!!

I LOVE Noodles..  BOL!!!!

 

I licked the Bowl clean!!!!!    

Now I am really fired up and ready to Go!!!!!  Dog Park here I come!!!!

Yes!!  We are here..  79'  Blue Skies...    I am SOOO ready!!!!

Oh.. Mom wants me to say it was SUPER WINDY out.. thats why  her hair is such a mess  BOL!!! 
And yes.. it WAS Windy...  #EarFLappin 

 

It was SO great to swim with out my Sisters climbing on me.. Or stealing my Ball..  

 

Nothing like a GOOD shake!!!!!

 

Here is a Dog named "Ghost" that I met there... He was pretty cool...

Of course there were some "photo Opps " Too....  ;)

But Honestly.. All I wanted to do was PLAY!!!!

I was SOO Happy there..    Mom says I am the cutest Labbie in the World..  (I'd argue if I could)  BOL... 

Sadly.. after close to 2 hours it was time to leave...    I had such  a great time.
on the way  home I thought about all the fun I had and about how much I LOVE my Life and My Mom!!    :)   

So that was my great Day pals...  A day Swimming, No Sisters, Just me and Mom..
Kinda the Trifecta of days!!!

"ME" (MY favorite Subject) bol..

Happy Fall Dear Friends.  Hope everyone is doing great....
I know alot of you are probably wondering what does a "talented, athletic, beautiful"  yellow Lab like me DO on an Average day...  ( cause you know sadly I can't go to the park EVERY day).... 
SO I thought I'd give you all a glimpse inside the Wonderful World of Lolita..
Lets call it a "TYPICAL WEDNESDAY"    .....

My week day usually begins about 8 a.m or so..  Dad gets up to start his day of work.. (while Mom & the Gruesome Twosome sleep until 10, 11.. or when ever)
Dad works from home so I have the Opportunity to spend the day with him every week day  (or should I say HE is "blessed" to get to spend the days with ME)
Mom always leaves Dad breakfast. some days fruit.. some days yogurt.. maybe a donut or muffin... what ever it is... I always get some  (unless it has chocolate)  After my breakfast I kick back & relax in his office with him

 

 When Mom & my Sisters FINALLY crawl out of Bed  I go out and go Potty.. (we eat dinner VERY early in the Morning.. Dad takes us down.. feeds us, lets us out.. then we all go back to bed..)  but when Mom gets up its OUT time for us again..

 

Then its Pill time... I get a mix of Hip/joint pills and Pills for my Coat..   (Thats what gives me my "youthful glow"

Alot of Mornings Mom will Brush  me..  She takes me out side when its nice and gives my coat a good "furminating"  

Mom likes brushing out side cause then my hair just floats away for some lucky bird to find.. Makes me smile to think some birdie has a soft beautiful nest of my silky hair.  :)

After my brushing I get a bit of a "misting"   to give my coat a nice smell and try to help with itching..

After all that its back into Dads office to wait for Lunch... 
LUNCH? You may ask...  you eat lunch???  Well yes.. of course..   besides mooching almost everything DAD eats.. I also get my own special lunch..
It varies from day to day.. some times its not as much.. some times its more..
but I always get some sort of "lunch"..

My Afternoons depend alot on what Mom is up too. Some days its just a lazy afternoon "helping" Dad.. other days I have Photo shoots... some times at home.. some times away from home...

On days I don't go to the Park I TRY to get a good work out or 2  in  during the afternoon or early evening...
Gotta stay in tip top shape...

Dinner is usually around 4:30 to 5:00.. altho some times I have to give Mom my "Starving Lab" look to remind her to feed us...

Below is a Typical dinner...  Its SOOO Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom usually puts Olive Oil OR Coconut Oil on it too..    :) 
    After dinner I usually just hang out on my "DIVA SOFA"  until its time for Mom & Dads dinner.  ( where I typically get MORE food) BOL.... See WHY I have to "work out" so much.. BOL.....

The "Gruesome Twosome" usually have to be  locked up while Mom & Dad eat tho cause they are too aggressive of Beggers..  especially CJ..

Many Nights either right before dinner, or right after dinner Mom & Dad have to run a few errands.. so of course I ride along.. (the other 2 as well.. sigh)

When the weather is decent  (and we don't go to the dog park that day) alot of times after dinner Mom & Dad takes us outside and play ball with us..
Dad throws me Pop ups.
he calls me the "POP UP QUEEN"  cause I rarely ever miss any.   :)

After that its time to start relaxing for the evening... Some nights we watch Sports, other nights Movies...  some times Mom & Dad play games or Work on the Computer... 
What ever comes along I just lay back and relax...

Last Out usually comes around 11:30 or so.. bed about  Midnight..    We sleep in the bedroom with Mom & Dad...
I usually sleep like a rock.............. 
   Until Morning comes and Crystal wakes us up for Breakfast (around 4:30 a.m)
Then back to sleep and the day starts all over again.....

So thats is my Friends..
That is the Life of Lolita...
