Well Pals.. I made it... #13 Gosh this year has just flown by!! Some downs but a few ups!
The Gruesome Twosome is still here..... (( you can consider that an up or down, its up to you ))
We are still plugging along and Dad is still working.....
Still no Fence.. but we are hoping and praying we get one SOON...
I am So grateful to ALL the wonderful people who have stayed beside us and kept being our Friends. That means everything to us!!! Thank you...
SO.. here is how my Day went.....
The day started with Me & Mom leaving the 2 dorks at home (which was a huge plus in its self!)
As usual Mom had to do a Photo Shoot... But I guess I can't blame her.. I mean I AM adorable!!!! (diva)
We walked around alittle bit.. boy was it HOT.. Around 95 with the Heat Index... I didn't care tho.. I was having fun!!!
Mom said I make her smile so much... Of course I do.... thats my job... ((wink))
There is a small pond by the dog park we go too. Moms been saying for a year plus that she was gonna let me swim there... but We had never done it. Its kind of hard to get down too. (sorta steep and hilly) (whispers.. and you know Moms kinda fat right?? BOL!!)
But today we finally did it!!!
Oh boy was I happy and excited.. I kept pulling on my leash when we were walking down there... Mom walks SO slow!!!!
But we finally made it!!!
I don't think anything anything makes me as happy as swimming.. (well maybe eating)
There was a bit of slim in the water.. but hey.. I didn't mind!!!!

After I swam awhile Mom said I had to sit and relax ..
Yeah RIGHT Mom.. You mean YOU needed to sit and relax a while...
I could of kept it up all day!!!!

I know the heat is very hard on her... but I am glad she wanted to spend some special time with me... I know how much she loves me!!
We found some Pretty Squares around the play ground. Do you see them??
Then we headed home. First thing I did when I got in the house is tell my Sisters that I went SWIMMING and they didn't!!!!! BOL!!!!
After a nice long drink I relaxed on the couch waiting for Dad to come home and the rest of my Birthday fun..
Dad came home with a surprise for me... #NationalHotDogDay RULES!!!
You might notice a bit of the bun is missing... I let my sisters have some of that... BOL!!!!
Mom knows I am really not into toys much. I like tennis balls. thats it... so she got me some treats.. 2 of my favs!!
Then we all went to The Dog Park.. I tried to leave my sisters at home.. but Mom said No...
It was a hot humid night..
Had to take a few pictures with the Kids... sigh...... I guess if it makes Mom happy...

Then it was time to go home..
Look.. even the Clock in the Van Knew it was my Birthday... BOL!!!

It was VERY good... and best part.. I didn't have to share!!!!!
I had a really nice day! I know Mom and Dad do the best they can for us on our birthdays. They want to take me to this really nice Lake some time soon.. its over 2 hours away (one way) but its just too hot right now....... They said hopefully later in August or early September..
They also have another lake they wanna try close by to see if its any good for swimming.. Maybe this weekend or next weekend...
Its gonna be brutal hot the next 3 days.... Mom is gonna have to be careful out there....
Well ~~ that was my 13th Friends.. I hope you enjoyed seeing it as much as I enjoyed living it
I hope I have alot more birthdays to come. I am a blessed girl to be loved so much and have a Mom & Dad that put me and my Sisters first...
No dog could ask for more...
(( well maybe an inground swimming pool, a fence and a never ending supply of steak~~~)) but I'm pretty lucky...
