Well it finally came.. Our First Swimming Day. After several weekends rained out we got a decent one.. Altho Mom said it was a bit cloudy..
When we lived in our old house we got to swim darn near every single weekend.. Some times Twice.. but now the swimming park is about 90 minutes away so we can't go as much. We have not found any good safe place to swim close by here..
We started out Bright an Early.. (( well bright and early for Mom )) I was ready to go at 7 a.m.. but we left at about 10 a.m
I was raring to go!!
As I said it is a long ride.. and Mom & Dad had to make a few stops along the way.. so we all settled in to relax..
Let me tell ya pals... I was SO happy to see that water! I couldn't wait to get Wet!!!!
It wasn't too busy, which was good, cause Crystal gets nervous if there are too any dogs around ... She doesn't care for little kids either.. The water felt so refreshing!!
It wasn't long before I stripped off my collar and harness and did some skinny dippin'
Boy did we get soaked!!! Good Times!!!
As Usual Delores took my ball a few times.. She is such a pain!
We all had a great time Splashing around!!!
Speaking of Brats.. Crystal was up to HER old Tricks again!!
While the "children" Splashed around by the shore.. I took the opportunity to get a good Swimming Work out in ~~
As usual, Delores made friends....
And as Usual Crystal was Crazy with her Water Toy!!!
I took a bit of time to Relax.. but not much.. We played for about 80 Minutes!!!
Crystal gave herself a good shake!!!
Delores and Crystal had fun too!!
Sadly it was time to go... I could of stayed there all day!! We walked back to the Van up the path.. when we got near the parking lot it was "Leashes On" for Safety!!
We were all wet and tired and happy on the trip home!!!!
I love going to the Parks... yet every time I go I feel a bit of sadness..
I am almost 13 friends... I don't know how many more parks I will go to before its time to go up to The Rainbow Bridge....
I am gonna TRY to live a long long time yet.... and I will enjoy every single park and every single day for as long as I can!!!!

Hello ~~ Just a quick "Fence Note"
Yes we are still battling to get this thing done..
Its not easy.. not only the cost of it.. but trying to coordinate everything and everyone....
I am praying it gets done this Month... The Girls need a safe place to play, and we need to be able to let them out and not have to go out ourselves 4-5 times a day in bitter cold, and rain and snow and lightening storms and humidity and heat...
We wanna be able to get a kiddie pool for our girls and sit and relax and watch them run around and play.
Please everyone take a second and send us a bit of "good luck" to get this thing done!!
Paul is still working.. Same place.. 7 months.. We wish the pay was a bit more. .and we still struggle alot of times.. but its a steady paying job.. so until he finds something else we are thankful for it..
