Hi Pals... I wanna thank everyone who has donated to help me get my surgery so far. It really means the world to Me, Mom & Dad.
I am not scared about the surgery (well maybe a TINY bit) But I am mostly scared about NOT being able to get it done..
I want to get it done.. get it over with and get on the road to recovery...
but that can't happen until we raise enough $$ to make the Vet Man happy and he will do the surgery.
SO sad that they make you come up with SO much $ FIRST!
Do they think EVERYONE is rich?? sigh.
But any way..
PLEASE keep spreading the word around and do what ya can.

Hi Pals. Long time No Bark.....
For those of you who do not know me, I am Lolita... I will be 9 years old on July 17th.
I live with my Mom, Dad & 2 Dorky sisters Delores and Crytsal.
On Memorial Day we all went swimming.. It was a blast until I hurt my leg really bad.
I couldn't put any weight on it.
I did my best to hide it from Mom & Dad.. but they are too smart...
We came home and since then I have been quarantined to doing NOTHING. Total Bummer for a Labbie like me!!!
On Wednesday 5/27 They took me to the vet to have them check my Leg..
This was proven to be more stressful for THEM than it was for me.. As you can see from the pictures.. ;)
Any way.. Vet Lady said I tore Ligaments in my back right leg.
Then today Daddy spent along time on the phone with my Surgeon and the decided on my Surgery.
Its called a TTA ~~ If any of you would like to look it up...
They will use lasers and all sorts of neat things to fix my leg so I can play again. (right now I am hoping on 3 legs.. sigh)
I will have to stay at the Doggie Hospital 4-7 days to recover and get some Therapy.
but then I will be home.. :)
Its gonna take some down time for me to fully recover.. but the vet thinks I will be "Right as Rain" When its all healed up.
I am hoping to be better so I can enjoy at least the end part of the summer and the lovely Fall weather here in Illinios..
