Almost a New Year

December 30th 2016

Hello Dear Pals...
        Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas .. 

Its amazing how fast this year has flown by.....
I know some times I am rather.. (Paws in Quotes) "Diva-ish"   But I'd like to take a minute to speak to you all from my heart.... 

As I go through my Blog I see alot of very Happy times.. Swimming,  Treats, Seeing my Real Sisters on my  10th Birthday, car rides, games  of fetch... all wonderful things that I am so blessed to have been able to experience.... I have a great Mom & Dad who do everything they can to make mine  (and my sisters) lives Happy...

But as I  think back I also  remember all the pals I've lost..
I don't wanna mention names in fear of leaving any one special out....
but lets just say I miss them ALL very much and it was a great pleasure to be able to call them Friends..  

   Even as a dog the Single biggest  thing that sticks  out in my mind from 2016 is Mom's favorite Singer Prince Dying... It was such a terrible shock....
She was so very sad for a LONG LONG time and she still misses him VERY much...
Almost as much as she misses her Mom & Dad..
I hate to see my Mom sad.....

I am so glad to have all of you for Friends..   Each of you play a  special part in my life and I love to see your pictures and hear of your adventures... 

I hope that 2017 is a wonderful year for us ALL and we are ALL  still here when 2018 rings in..

This SHOULD of been a great day....

As most of you know I love Dog parks... I go as often as Mom & Dad will take me...
Well on THIS Date  exactly 10 years ago.. when I was just a Kid..  I went to my VERY First Dog park.. 

 

Adorable  huh?!!
So any way....  Mom & Dad wanted to take me to that  Park today to play...  AND recreate this picture that was taken 10 yrs ago....

So after lunch today we all got in the car..  (YES The Gruesome Twosome came too) and took the 45 Minute Drive to the park... It was a nice crisp breezy fall day... A great day for some chasing.......

Any way.....................

We pull in the parking lot of the Dog Park and THIS sign is on the Fence...............

At that VERY Moment Pals I knew exactly how Clark Griswold felt  in "Vacation"... all that was missing was the "Moose Out Front".....     :(  
I was sooo  bummed.....   
But Since we were there Mom & Dad wanted to still take the picture.... 

As you can see.. I've barely aged a day.......  (( mom  NOT so much ))  ROTFBOL!!!!

Then Mom tooked a couple more pictures of me...   I wanted to swim.. but Mom said NO!

I was very disappointed... so Mom & Dad tried to find another Dog park that was in that area.. (a new one) but we couldn't find it..   sigh...

BUT I did get a nice long ride... and got to spend time with Mom & Dad...   AND got some good treats.. so it was still a decent day..

SWIMMIN' IN OCTOBER

October 11th   2016

As Most of you know there is NOTHING I like better than Swimming.  The feeling of jumping in that Cool, glorious water is like nothing else in this   world...  Here in the Midwest it gets pretty cold for about  5 months out of the  year... not really "swimming weather" so every day AFTER October 1st that we get to Swim is a GIFT!
   Wednesday October  5th Mom took JUST ME Swimming.    Such great fun.
Here is our day........

We left the house and I was more than a bit excited.. Mom asked me if I didn't feel "alittle" sorry that my Sisters were not coming along.. (( I Laughed ))

 Mom & I are a great team...

Our First stop was The Mobil Gas Station.. I got some Treats and one of the clerks came out and pet me AND a man delievering pop pet me too.  They could NOT believe I am 10 
     From there it was lunch time..  I personally could of went STRAIGHT to the Park.. but you know Moms... they gotta have their lunch..
We went to Panda Express & shared a "Panda Bowl"    YUM!!!

I LOVE Noodles..  BOL!!!!

 

I licked the Bowl clean!!!!!    

Now I am really fired up and ready to Go!!!!!  Dog Park here I come!!!!

Yes!!  We are here..  79'  Blue Skies...    I am SOOO ready!!!!

Awww Thats what I've been waiting for!!!!  :)

Oh.. Mom wants me to say it was SUPER WINDY out.. thats why  her hair is such a mess  BOL!!! 
And yes.. it WAS Windy...  #EarFLappin 

 

It was SO great to swim with out my Sisters climbing on me.. Or stealing my Ball..  

 

Nothing like a GOOD shake!!!!!

 

Here is a Dog named "Ghost" that I met there... He was pretty cool...

Of course there were some "photo Opps " Too....  ;)

But Honestly.. All I wanted to do was PLAY!!!!

I was SOO Happy there..    Mom says I am the cutest Labbie in the World..  (I'd argue if I could)  BOL... 

Sadly.. after close to 2 hours it was time to leave...    I had such  a great time.
on the way  home I thought about all the fun I had and about how much I LOVE my Life and My Mom!!    :)   

So that was my great Day pals...  A day Swimming, No Sisters, Just me and Mom..
Kinda the Trifecta of days!!!
